The yard has gone from drab to fab in the last month. My husband sprinkled some medicine for the roses, but isn't this bloom gorgeous?
The iris ~
Not sure why my peonies opened in white this year, they've been pink in the past. If any of you know the reason, let me know please ~
Well in addition to drooling over the spring beauty ... and rushing to finish my son's homeschool 9th grade year! ... I've made another apron. This is my favorite so far, but I have more ideas - and fabric! - in mind for a few more. Planning to gift them, but tell me - would you love to receive one of these as a gift? Or not?
Just because I would doesn't mean the whole world would flip out over them, right?!
I'm back to the school books with Matthew. Leave a comment letting me know what you think about the apron idea, and I'll be sure to visit you!
Keep sewing ~
Mary
I love your aprons. Remind me of the ones I saw in my childhood, which was in the sixties. You're really getting into this sewing thing, girl!

I think the whole world should flip out over them, Mary - so adorable and I love the fabric. So needless to say, I would love to receive one as a gift (I'll email my address to you - ha ha)! Your flowers are so pretty - the best part of spring, I think!
ReplyDeleteYour apron is lovely! I wear an apron a lot, so would love it, and I am sure many others would too.......and it suits you very well. How pretty your flowers are, such gorgeous colours.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.

I wear one while I garden, and I have a few I use in my kindergarten class. I love the fabric you chose for this one! Your blog is yummy. I found you on Brenda's. I'm off to look around!
