Not Yet, But Soon

I haven't bought a new sewing machine yet (see post here), but I have researched machines and decided to buy a Baby Lock at a nearby sewing shop. Hopefully tomorrow!

Meanwhile, the old machine managed to hold itself together well enough to make this sweet little dress ~

I participate in a program called Little Dresses for Africa (see more here and here).

They suggest making pillow-case style dresses, which I've done. But I decided it would be much cuter and easier for little girls to manage with this new pattern which uses a zipper instead of ties.

I have four more pieces of fabric, each just as cute as this, and can't wait to start making dresses on my soon-to-be sewing machine. I'll show you as soon as it's up and running!
