I'm at my lowest weight since befor...Great job! I'm at my lowest weight since before having kids (over 28 years ago!)...for the past few years I have eaten "clean", meaning lean protein, tons of veggies, a little fruit, minimal dairy and gluten, no fast food, no food dyes, chemicals, preservatives, nitrates, soybean oil, high fructose corn syrup or any other "bad" ingredients. I read labels on every food product I buy. Then, in April 2015, I gave up processed sugar. Not only did I lose more weight, but my BP went down and the psoriasis that I had on my knees since I was 16 years old, totally cleared up! I also try to stay mostly active during the day by staying in motion, walking, and doing yoga every day. It's hard to change over....I say Kudos to you!! It's hard to change over...I've been doing so recently / more fruit, no bacon at breakfast, no chips or salty snacks in the house, more juices etc. While I didn't eat junk continually and always enjoyed my veggies it's hard to give up that salty snack habit. One day I was craving tortilla chips and cheese dip so badly that I gave in. I went down to the Dollar Store and bought them. Without flour in my diet, then processed sugar is gone too and I lose about 1 pound a week.
